Paid ads with clear targets

We plan, set up and run your campaigns on Google, Meta and TikTok, then improve them every week. You always know what you spend and what it brings back.

Ads are the fastest way to buy attention, and the easiest way to waste money. Before your budget goes live, we make sure every enquiry and sale is tracked, so we can cut what does not work within weeks. And we check the page the ads point to first, because ads sent to a page that does not convert are money poured into a leak.

Where ad money goes

Google and Meta run an auction for every ad shown. What you pay depends on how many others want the same customer and on how relevant your ad and landing page are. Better ads and pages can lower the price of the same click.

Both platforms now rely on automated bidding that learns from your conversion data. That makes tracking more important than ever. If the platform cannot see which clicks became customers, it optimises for the wrong thing.

Search ads catch people who are already looking. Social ads create demand among people who are not looking yet. Most businesses need a mix, weighted by how people buy what they sell.

Mistakes we fix most often

  • Ad clicks sent to the home page instead of a page built for the offer
  • No conversion tracking, so the platform optimises for clicks
  • The same ads running for months until people stop noticing them
  • Ads judged by clicks instead of cost per customer

How the work is done

Before any budget is spent, we agree on what counts as a result. Google defines a conversion as a customer action that is valuable to your business, such as an action on your website or app, a phone call or an offline sale, and its automated bidding learns from exactly that data4. Meta and TikTok each offer a server to server link, the Conversions API and the Events API, that sends actions from your own website or systems straight to the platform, alongside the usual tracking code56. Without that, the platform is left guessing.

Next the account is built so that each part has one clear job. Google advises giving every ad group a narrow theme, for example one product type or one page, with keywords tied to that theme and at least three ads in each7. On TikTok the platform recommends vertical video with sound, a hook in the first seconds and 3 to 5 different creatives per ad group, refreshed once results start to slide8.

Picture a café owner who opens the dashboard on day two, sees one expensive click and wants to change everything. That is usually too early. Google says a new bid strategy typically needs 1 to 2 conversion cycles to calibrate9, and TikTok says results tend to settle after about 25 results or 7 days, with pauses and edits starting the learning over10. Spend is read across the month for the same reason, since Google may spend up to twice the daily budget on a busy day but caps the month at 30.4 times the daily amount for most campaigns11.

Bigger changes are tested against the current setup before they replace it, and Google recommends giving such a test at least 4 to 6 weeks, longer when customers take time to decide3. The platforms' own automated campaign types are worth including in those tests. Meta says advertisers who use Advantage+ for lead campaigns pay 14% less per lead on average12, and TikTok says its automated Smart+ campaigns improved cost per acquisition by 29% against manual ones in testing13. Those are the platforms' own figures, and we found no neutral industry standard for how an agency should run an account week to week, so this section rests on their published guidance.

What it usually costs

Paid ads carry two costs. The first is ad spend, paid directly to Google, Meta or TikTok, and the second is the fee for the people who plan and run the campaigns. We could not find a reliable published survey of click prices or agency fees in Indonesia or Southeast Asia, so most figures here come from the United States and are a rough guide only.

In the United States, search ads averaged $5.42 a click across thousands of small business campaigns in 202619. The industry matters a great deal, with restaurants paying $2.05 a click and $30.57 per lead, and lawyers $9.87 and $131.6319. Facebook lead campaigns in the United States ranged from $3.16 per lead for restaurants to $76.71 for dentists20. Click prices in Indonesia are set by a different market, so these numbers show the shape of the costs more than the size.

Management fees vary just as much. A 2025 survey by AgencyAnalytics, a reporting software company, found agencies charging 10% to 20% of ad spend, or a flat monthly fee from around $500 for smaller budgets, though it does not say how many agencies took part23. Clutch, a directory of agencies, lists pay per click management at $100 to $149 an hour, based on pricing from 106,043 digital marketing companies24.

Questions

Is ad spend included in your fee?

No. Ad spend is paid straight to Google, Meta or TikTok. Our fee covers planning, setup, creative and management.

How much should I spend on ads?

It depends on your market and goals. We recommend a starting budget after the free audit and adjust it once we see results.

How soon will I see results?

Ads bring traffic from the day they go live. It usually takes a few weeks of testing to find the best cost per enquiry or sale.
